​​When I discovered kohakutou, a traditional Japanese crystal confection, something resonated. Making these pieces with my children, I saw how creativity could become something more: a path toward independence and purpose. Noticing that these unique sweets were hardly known, I wanted to share them. 

That’s how Cassio Jumae began—named after my children and a step out of my comfort zone.

This is about more than candy. It’s about starting anew, creating with care, and offering something special.
